It's the year 2022, and my best friend Alex came down here 🇬🇧 from Austria. We roam the island and have a lovely roadtrip. Several days in, in Bristol, he points at a building and asks
Why do you guys have so many broken clocks over here?
I don't remember my answer, but the question stayed with me. I started noticing just how many clocks are only right twice a day. I love clocks! They are gorgeous! But we need to take care of them, and too many are neglected. For two years, I had an idea for this whimsical project on my backlog, and now I finally got to make it real.
Twice a Day is a place to collect and catalogue clocks around us.
And maybe — who knows? — fix some of them.
